My mom, Char, is the strongest person I know. She’s currently fighting cancer, and every day brings new challenges for our family. We’ve had to cover all the out-of-pocket expenses for travel, gas, vehicle maintenance, motel stays, meals away from home, and lifestyle changes like eating organically and buying new clothes. My stepdad is on SSI and most of his monthly income goes toward household bills, leaving little left over for these extra costs. It’s been overwhelming at times, but we’re determined to do everything we can to support her through this journey. Any donations will help balance the expenses I’ve already covered and make it possible for my mom to continue getting to her chemotherapy appointments and maintain the changes needed for her health. Every bit of support means we can focus more on her recovery and less on the financial strain. Your kindness will help us keep moving forward, one day at a time. To everyone who has ever fought cancer, loved someone through it, or stood beside someone during the hardest days of their life — you know how heavy this journey can be. You know the fear before appointments, the exhaustion after treatments, and the quiet strength it takes just to keep going. My mom is living that fight right now. She shows up to every chemotherapy appointment, even when her body is tired and the road ahead feels uncertain. She keeps fighting because she wants more time with the people she loves, more moments, more memories. If her story touches your heart, we humbly ask for your support. Any donation, no matter the size, helps us continue getting her to the treatments she needs and gives her one more chance to keep fighting. And to the survivors and families who understand this battle — your strength inspires us more than words can say. Thank you for standing with us, for believing in hope, and for helping my mom continue her fight.
