My name is Maryan Mahamud Yasin. I am 14 years old and I live in Somalia. I am sharing my story with the help of volunteers because I need help to survive.
I am suffering from kidney failure. Every day I feel weak and tired, and many days I am in pain. I cannot go to school anymore, even though I loved learning and dreamed of becoming a teacher one day.
Doctors say I need medical treatment, including dialysis and medicine, to stay alive. Sadly, my family cannot afford this care. We struggle even to meet basic needs like food. My parents feel helpless watching me suffer, knowing help exists but is too expensive for us.
As a volunteer, I am asking for your kindness and support for Maryan. She is only a child who wants to live, learn, and grow. Any help—donations, sharing her story, or connecting us with medical support—can make a real difference.
If you cannot donate, please share her story or offer your time as a volunteer. Your support could help save Maryan’s life and give her hope for a future.
Thank you for listening and for caring.
