Hello everyone,
My name is Bernadette de la Cruz, a teacher currently working in the United States through a cultural exchange program. I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your compassion and help for my hometown community in the Philippines. After enduring a series of earthquakes, they have now been devastated by severe floods and are once again facing another super typhoon.
Families are still recovering, with no safe water to drink and very little food.
I started a GoFundMe campaign to help provide food, water, and shelter for those who lost everything and to help them prepare for the next storm.
Even a small act of kindness can bring hope. I will personally coordinate with trusted local volunteers to make sure every donation reaches those truly in need.
Please keep my community in your prayers, and if you can, donate or share this campaign to help us save lives and restore hope.
Withdrawal Transparency Statement
Since GoFundMe does not support bank withdrawals to the Philippines, all funds from this campaign will be received through my verified U.S. bank account. I will then transfer 100% of the donations to local volunteers and community leaders in our Town Barangay in the Philippines, who will purchase and distribute food, clean water, and relief supplies to affected families.
I will also share updates, photos, and receipts to keep donors informed and ensure transparency. None of the funds will be used for personal benefit every dollar will go toward helping families rebuild and prepare for the incoming typhoon.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Bernadette de la Cruz
