<div>Thanks to everyone’s generous donations and prayers we paid the down payment for Jeremy’s funeral. The viewing will be 2/28 from 5 to 7. The funeral will be 2/29 starting at 11:00. Everyone is welcome. If you would like to send flowers we are using All About Flowers in Tarboro. The funeral will be held at Carlisle funeral home in Tarboro.

<div>My son, Jeremy Pollard, along with 2 of his friends were tragically killed in a car accident outside of Rocky Mount NC on February 17,2024. They were passengers in a vehicle that collided with an oncoming vehicle. Jeremy was a young man with big dreams. He dreamed of one day getting his degree in psychology. He loved helping people and made friends with everyone he met. This tragedy has devastated my family. I will never be able to see his loving smile or hear his beautiful voice again. I will miss him singing to me while I cook.

Paying tribute to my beloved son Jeremy Pollard

<div>Sahira was born February 22, 2007 to a God-fearing, faith-filled family. Family was everything to them. 
</div>

<div>In 2020 Sahira was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She had several different kinds of chemotherapy and radiation since then. She went into remission. But the cancer came back four times, in May of 2022 she was medivaced to Seattle due to a chemo reaction. The family stayed strong in prayer and was able to pull through. But then in October 2022 her cancer returned. Sahira had cancer spots on her neck, chest and groin. Chemo didn't work and the doctors said a transplant was needed. After the surgery Sahira seemed to be doing well, but 5 days later she became sick very fast. Sahira was intubated and put on ECMO. After fighting several rare infections and complications, the doctors told her parents that some hard decisions were going to need to be made and that there was some hope, but specialized testing would be more telling. After 48 hrs of hard fast travel and praying over the testing, Sahira's parents were told palliative is the next step. Sahira needs surgery but is too weak to survive, but without the surgeries, she will not survive either.

<br />My name is John Tippett.  I am the Chief of Police of the Scotland Neck Police Department.  I'm asking for your generosity in supporting my Captain, Tommy Parker in his desperate time of need.  <br /><br />Tommy's son, Logan Dunn,  was involved in a serious vehicular accident while visiting in Kentucky.  This type of incident, is bad enough happening at home, much less, hundreds of miles away.  On top of that, due to the extent of his injuries, he's been flown to Cincinnati Ohio, Children's Hospital.     <br /><br />Tommy &amp; Ginger have flown to Cincinnati, to be with him and have not asked for a dime, knowing they will have to make multiple trips back and forth.  <br /><br />They will need help with food &amp; lodging over the course of the next few weeks or even months putting them out of work.  Even with insurance, there will be thousands of dollars, in medical bills alone.  <br /><br />Anything you can provide is appreciated!!<br /><br />Thank you &amp; God Bless<br />Chief John C.
