<div>For those who aren’t aware of Avery, a sweet sweet little one was in a tragic accident on Thursday Feb 26th 2026. Our dear Avery, mama and papa (melina &amp; nicholas), friends, a team of amazing doctors and nurses did absolutely everything they could to heal his body.

<div><strong>Feb, 27th 2026:</strong>

</div>
<div>On this evening, at bedtime , we had a beautiful ceremony singing for him and anointing him with rose water and wild honey. After that, the team of doctors and nurses at UC Davis Hospital removed all the machines and tubes so Melina (momma) could have him in skin to skin on her just like when he was born, and Sweet little Avery Li passed to the other side.

<div>Melina and Nicholas has been in full on Mamma &amp; Papa bear mode the whole time, loving him so fiercely through this. Now begins a whole other devastating phase of course. To bear the unbearable...

<div>There will soon be more information about practical ways we can support them. A meal train is being organized.

<div>Melina’s parents are flying in from Australia, arriving this morning to be with her and Nicholas.
</div>

<div>Let’s keep surrounding them with big love and prayers.
</div>

<div><strong>We want to give Melina and Nicholas as much support so they can simply be in the unfolding process without having to worry about returning to work and such.</strong>

<div>Thank you for taking the time and consideration to help donate to the Gibbon's family. Our names are Dan Turgeon and Mitchell Butman and we are raising donations for our beloved friend, Patrick Gibbons, better known as Gibby.

<div>On July 3rd, Gibby was involved in an accident that caused severe leg damage. After being transported immediately to the hospital, Gibby was dealt the grim news that would change his life forever. In the upcoming days, weeks, and even months, the Gibbons family and Patrick will experience emotional, mental, and financial hardships. We are trying to lessen the financial burden by asking people to donate for Patrick along with his family, no matter the amount.

<div>Patrick is loved by so many people, including his best friends (pictured above), and want to do anything we can to help him and his family. As a member of the class of 2017 at Wachusett Regional High School, Patrick touched many people's lives whether it was on the football team, during Holden rec basketball, or befriending anyone that he came in conversation with.

Patrick Gibbon's Recovery

<div>This past Monday, we unexpectedly lost a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend, Jack Hamel. You did not have to know Jack to know what kind of person he was. Jack put everyone before himself, and was always looking out for his friends, family, and other members of the community. Jack was someone that everyone looked up to, not just because of his height, but because of the positive impact that he had on every person that he encountered. We are all forever grateful for the lessons that Jack taught us through his kindness, selflessness, and positivity.

<div>During such a tragic time, many people have asked what they can do to help the family. The flowers, food, love and emotional support have all been greatly appreciated. To try to help ease the families financial burdens we are establishing this fund to help them through this heartbreak.
