<div>I am fundraising for Layla, a selfless community organizer and personal friend, who is in dire need of funds for relocation and general relief. Layla is a disabled single mother of two children currently living in Golders Green, North London. She has had a housing case open for about 21 months after three eviction notices (two were dismissed by the court, the third went through). During this time, the landlords have refused to make necessary fixes to the property, and her housing officers assigned by the council have failed to find her new housing. She is on UC/PIP, but is in desperate need of funds to support herself and her children, who she was left alone with after the father of her youngest child passed away around six years ago from a brain tumor. To this day, Layla suffers from severe panic attacks resulting in frequent hospital visits.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Layla, as an Arab woman with a Palestinian child, has faced repeated harassment from local residents in Golders Green while wearing a keffiyeh. On 27 June, she was screamed at from a car while chatting with another mother after a school drop-off. She was later followed by a man who hurled insults at her, leading her to seek refuge at a dry-cleaners, where an employee called the police on her behalf. The police, however, took the side of the aggressor. Layla now faces a court hearing in mid-November 2025 regarding the instance of harassment, where she is being treated as an offender.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Updates to the situation will continue to be posted on this page, please donate and share widely to assist Layla and her family as they go through these simultaneous hardships.

Justice for Layla

<div>Hello,
</div>
<div>My name is Mohammed. I am a husband and a father, and I also carry the responsibility of caring for my elderly mother and my brother. I am writing these words with honesty, exhaustion, and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The first time we were forced to flee our home, my five-year-old daughter ran through the streets under bombardment. She left behind her toys, her bed, and everything that made her world feel safe. In that moment, she learned that her home, her entire universe was no longer a place of protection.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/79383073_1771579291646943_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/79383073_1771851049791854_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Until today, she is afraid of simple sounds. A door closing, a loud voice, or a sudden noise can make her cry and scream. The most painful moment for me as a father is when she looks into our eyes during an explosion and sees fear instead of reassurance. No child should ever grow up carrying this fear.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During the war, I was shot in my leg. For months, I struggled to walk and was unable to work or support my family. Although my condition has improved with time, that injury changed everything. It took away our stability and reminded me how fragile life is here, how quickly a father can become powerless.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/79383073_1771579402980937_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the beginning of the war, I was living with my mother and siblings. As the situation worsened, I managed after great difficulty to set up a small tent so I could live separately with my wife and daughter, trying to protect them and give them some privacy. Winter was extremely harsh. Rain leaked into the tent, the cold was unbearable, and every day felt like survival.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After a temporary ceasefire, we returned to our home. But the house was heavily damaged. I repaired a few rooms with my own hands just so we could have a roof over our heads. Many parts of the house are still unsafe and unlivable due to the destruction. What we live in now is not a proper home it is fragile, incomplete, and offers no real safety or stability.
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My elder brother, Rabah, is a person with special needs and suffers from diabetes. He requires continuous care and regular diabetes medication. Securing these medicines has become extremely difficult, and without them, his health is constantly at risk.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My mother is 75 years old. Despite her age and exhaustion, she is the one caring for my brother every day feeding him, helping him move, and managing his medical needs. She is tired, but she remains patient and strong because she has no other choice.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are not asking for comfort or luxury. We are asking for a chance to live with dignity and to protect a child, an exhausted mother, and a vulnerable family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>How the funds will be used ($30,000 goal):</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Essential home repairs: $12,000</strong>
</div>
<div>(Securing unsafe rooms, repairing walls and ceilings, protecting the house from rain and further damage)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Medications and vitamins for my wife (one year): $3,000</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Diabetes medication and care for my brother Rabah (one year): $2,500</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Kindergarten fees for my daughter (one year): $2,000</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Basic living necessities (water, electricity, fuel, and daily essentials): $6,000</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Emergency medical needs and unexpected repairs: $4,500</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Total: $30,000</strong>
</div>
<div>Every donation will be used transparently and only for the purposes listed above.
</div>
<div>This fundraiser is not about rebuilding a perfect house.
</div>
<div>It is about creating the minimum level of safety, stability, and hope for a family that has lost almost everything.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we cannot secure this support, I fear that my daughter will continue growing up in fear, my brother’s health will deteriorate, and my mother will keep carrying a burden heavier than her age allows.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation no matter how small makes a real difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story could help us reach someone who can.
</div>
<div>Money raised through this fundraiser will be collected by a close friend in Japan who will pay the fees to rescue my family’s well-being and safety.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story and for any kindness you can offer.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With deep gratitude,

Help Me Protect My Family and Rebuild a Safe Home in Gaza

<div>English &amp; Español

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Adam, and I am 18 years old. For nearly three years, my family and I have been living through extremely difficult and inhumane conditions. Our home was damaged, our sources of income disappeared, and even our most basic needs, such as food, clean water, and safety, have become a daily struggle.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Six months ago, we suffered the loss of my mother. Since then, I have done my best to support my family and remain strong for them during this time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Food has become extremely expensive, especially with the borders closed. Even basic items such as flour now cost hundreds of dollars, making it very difficult for us to meet our daily needs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am doing everything I can to support my family, but the situation has reached an urgent point. We are trying to hold on, to preserve our dignity, and to get through each day with what little we have.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Today, we are asking for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a real difference for us during this critical time. Your support can help us meet our most basic needs and give us a chance to endure these circumstances.

A lifeline for Adam and his family

<div>

</div>Mahmoud, a 20-year-old, is struggling to support himself and his younger sister after losing his parents and siblings in a direct hit on their home in Gazze.

He lives in a severely damaged building, lacking food, water, medical care, after repeated displacement and heavy losses. Mahmoud lost his family and his home, and survived direct fire while trying to obtain aid.

We are now his only hope against starvation.

Mahmoud was the primary breadwinner for eight people, including his mother, his brothers Ahmed, Mohammed, and Abdullah, and his 16-year-old sister, Yasmine. <br />Every day, Mahmoud is now responsible for his and sister’s safety, food, and survival.

They live in a heavily damaged area near the "Yellow Line," under constant threat from drones, missiles, and tanks. Their shelter is a damaged building, partially destroyed by the bombing. The roof is patched with a piece of cloth, offering little protection from the cold. The building is unsafe, exposed, and infested with rats, and clean water is not always available.

This isn't the first time they've faced disaster. The family were displaced multiple times and left homeless, even during harsh winter conditions. They also survived the bombing of their uncle's house, which collapsed while they were inside, trapping and injuring family members, including his aunt.

Mahmoud himself was hit by a missile, suffering severe burns that still scar his body. He was also shot while collecting aid and miraculously survived. More recently, he survived a car bombing on the street he was walking on, as well as an explosion at a nearby cafe.

Mahmoud is now suffering from a severe shortage of food, clean water, clothing, and medicine. They are malnourished, and disease is rampant.

Even $5 or $10 can help provide food and basic necessities. When many people contribute what they can, it becomes life-saving support. If possible, a small monthly donation can provide stability and help Mohammed plan for the future, but any support—whether a one-time donation or ongoing—makes a real difference.

The funds will be used to provide food, clean water, medicine, and clothing, and to help the family move to safer housing. Renting a basic apartment in a safe area costs around $350 per month, an amount beyond their means without support.

Due to high withdrawal and cash brokerage fees, a portion of each donation is lost before it reaches the family, making community support even more crucial.

Your support helps Mohammed shoulder a significant responsibility and gives him and his sister a chance to live in safety, dignity, and with a future.

Help Mahmoud survive after devastating loss

<div>I am a family man facing difficult financial circumstances, currently relying on donations to cover my basic needs. I have three young daughters whose milk and daily necessities I must provide. I also have rent obligations that I cannot consistently meet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Through this request, I seek support to help me secure a decent life for my daughters and provide them with essential food and other necessities. Any assistance, no matter how small, will greatly alleviate our burden.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>May God reward you and place it on the scale of your good deeds.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The organiser of this fund raiser and the person overseeing it is Roisin Byrne, I live in England, I am able to transfer the donations to a friend of Mohammed who is then able to get the money directly to him. This method has been successful for about a year. I plan to continue to send money to Mohammed and his family to support them, especially his children, during this really awful time. All donations are sent over monthly.

<div>Hassan story carries the struggles of war, having lost everything in a moment and now living in harsh conditions with his family including his toddler and his infant.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The war has ruined Hassan's life, taking away his home to a pile of rubble. Now he and his family lives in a nylon tent that offers no protection. The relentless sun beats down upon them, while the biting cold of night seeps through the thin fabric. There is no protection from the rains that leaves them shivering and vulnerable. It is a cruel and unforgiving shelter, a constant reminder of the devastation wrought by the conflict. Every gust of wind threatens to tear it apart, leaving the whole family exposed to the harshness of nature.

<div>In the face of these challenges, Hassan and his family require increased support and protection to ensure their basic needs are met, including medical care, shelter, food, clean water, children food, baby formula and diapers. Let us come together as a community and offer a helping hand to this strong young man who is determined to care for his family despite the odds.

<div>This war has stolen so many valuable things from us , some of which can never recover or come back , it has stolen many of my relatives including my uncle, his five children, and my aunt, who was like a mother to me and to my siblings . They have left a great void in our hearts. We ask God for mercy and acceptance for them and all our martyrs.

</div>
<div>Our source of income, which my father worked hard to secure and provide for us including the household expenses of food drink, and which provided us with educational expenses to complete my dream of studying medicine. My father's source of income was growing strawberries and some vegetables. But after the war, which is still ongoing, my father’s livelihood and source of income have been destroyed due to the occupation’s vehicles razing our land and bulldozing the water well. Now we no longer have a source of income. And now we are deprived of all our basic requirements and deprived of our rights to education due to the lack of education expenses due to my father losing his source of income, which was a support for all of our need. Therefore, I ask you to look at us with mercy, and to stand with us and help us obtain the basic needs and essentials and to help me complete my medical degree.

 Now they live day by day, just trying to survive. They are not asking for much, just for your support and assistance so they can pay rent and live with dignity. Mahmoud's family has two new children and we want to stand with them in any way we can.

Stand with Mahmmoud’s Family in Their Time of Need

<div>My name is Waleed Maher Abu Ruqaa old 24 years . I have a family of 21 people: my father, my mother, 5 sons, 4 daughters, and 7children. I am the sole provider for my family. I hope you will stand by me and support me and my family. May God reward you all.Eight times, it was not just numbers for a passing displacement, but eight twigs in the heart. Every time we were in small bags that were left with the rest of our memories, leaving behind walls that were sheltering us, to go out into the unknown. Eight times the war drove us out of our homes, but it could not drive us out of our will.

</div>

<div>We went through days when cruelty was not only in the bullets, but in our empty intestines. When the livelihood became a distant dream, we grinded the "lentils" to become flour, we baked from it our pain and patience in order to fill our families. It was bread with the taste of helplessness, but it was dipped with dignity that does not bend.

</div>

<div>Today, I stand homeless to protect me, without work to support me, but I carry a heavy trust on my shoulders. I am the only breadwinner of my family, I am their wall that did not fall despite all the earthquakes that have stormed us. Travel long distances looking for a clean drink of water or a crumb of bread to satisfy their hunger.

</div>

<div>My life turned into a daily trip to secure survival. I sleep and go for nothing, except so that my family sleeps in peace, and to see in their eyes a glitter of reassurance that I create from nothing. We may have lost walls, but we have not lost the soul, and I will remain the warrior who knocks on the doors of the rock to provide them with a life worth living.

Help the family who lost their home and job in the Gaza war

<div>I am Hamza from Gaza. I'm 20 years old. I live in northern Gaza in a very beautiful agricultural area. I was living happily, having a nice job and a nice life with friends and family. I went to work every day for a beautiful and unexpected life. After the date of October 7, my life, my family and my friends went to hell because of the war he founded.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/81389599_1720877146714279_r.png" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The occupation took over Gaza City. Since the first days of the war, my family and I were displaced from our home to southern Gaza, to the camps. There are also no supplies such as clothes and food and the place is unsafe. We now live in a very small tent. My family and I currently consist of 9 people. Every senior person in the Brotherhood is married, so the number of children living in the tent is 9 children between the ages of one and 12 years, and the useful number is 20 people. This is a very large number and they cannot live in one tent, and food supplies and material prices are very high, which makes purchasing food very difficult, so we resort. To help, like those After the occupation bombed our house and shops, we have no real estate, no work, and no work in Gaza.

<div><br />

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My and my family's life has been completely destroyed, and I am now collecting donations in order to have some money, such as being able to buy food, buy clothes for the children, and buy some supplies. Some children's toys are expensive because of the war, so I collect donations and I also collect donations for me and my family to travel to a safe place away from war and destruction. who make

<div>Now, I feel afraid that I and my family will be targeted because the occupation targets everyone randomly. So I want to collect donations as quickly as possible to carry out the evacuation, and I want to help my family to compensate for the pain we went through in the war, such as being able to build a new house, get my life good and help my family build a new project and shops that I can work in and achieve financial stability in the country. Safe, far from bombing and destruction. food in the camps

Help donate to the children of Gaza♥️

<div>Help Me Rebuild My Life and Find Safety
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Ziad, and I am a young man from Gaza.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For a long time, my family and I have been living through circumstances that have changed every part of our lives. Our home was destroyed, and we lost the place where we felt safe and where our memories were made. Since then, every day has been a struggle to find stability, hope, and a way forward.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead of focusing on building my future, I spend my days worrying about basic needs and what tomorrow will bring. I am a university student with dreams of finishing my education, working, and supporting my family, but the reality around us has made those goals feel farther away than ever.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The purpose of this fundraiser is to give me a chance to rebuild my life outside the conditions that have trapped us for so long. The donations will help cover the costs related to travel, relocation, and the essential expenses of starting over in a safe place where I can continue my education, work toward financial independence, and live with dignity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every contribution, no matter how small, brings me one step closer to a new beginning. If you are unable to donate, sharing my campaign with others would mean just as much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for giving hope to someone who is trying to rebuild a future after losing so much.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>

..“Save My Family from Starvation in Gaza”

<div>My name is Yiwen, and I am a German citizen. I've been constantly in touch with Osama Abdel Hadi and his family for the past few months who are currently enduring unimaginable hardship in the Gaza Strip.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Osama is 31 years old and lives with his wife and their young children—Karim, Amir, and Eileen. Their lives have been shattered the genocide. Bombing is a constant threat, and they face severe shortages of electricity, water, and food. They have lost their jobs, been displaced multiple times, and live with the constant fear that their lives could end at any moment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am using my bank account to collect the money and will then transfer it to Osama's bank account in tranches. Banks are working and can accept money in specific amounts across different times. The situation, however, keeps changing. They will use the money to leave Gaza and enter Egypt through the Rafah border crossing, once it's opened. The evacuation costs are steep—$7,000 per person. Once they're there they will need some money to manage expenses until they figure out their status and the legalities of getting work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am asking for your help to raise the funds needed to ensure the safe passage of Osama and his family out of Gaza. Your donations will go directly towards covering their travel expenses and helping them escape the dangerous situation they are currently in.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How You Can Help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<ul>
<li>Donate: Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in their lives.
</li>
<li>Promote: Please share this fundraiser with your network—friends, family, influencers and social media—to help amplify their cause.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your compassion and generosity. You can look back at this dark chapter and history and at least know that you helped someone live.
</div>

<div>With heartfelt thanks,

Help Me Get Osama and His Family Out of the Gaza Genocide

<div>Hello great individual
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Darren, and I am writing to you from the heart of Gaza, where my family and I have endured relentless hardship and displacement due to the ongoing conflict. Our story is one of resilience and hope amidst unimaginable adversity.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are a large family of six: my father Muhammad (55), my mother Suzan (45), my older brother Omar (23), my sister Dareen (20), my younger sister Hadeel (17), and my younger brother Karim. (11).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our journey has been marked by repeated displacements, each more terrifying than the last. As we fled on foot to escape the constant threat of violence, we lost our home in Gaza and, tragically, many of our dear relatives. Displacement, initially meant to be short, has stretched into months as we struggle to stabilize amid the chaos of war. We now find ourselves living in a makeshift tent in a semi-desert area in southern Gaza, where daily life is a battle against insects, diseases and the unforgiving elements.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I humbly appeal for your compassion and generosity in our time of greatest need. Your support will provide us with the means to transition to a safer environment, protect our children from the upheavals of conflict so they can continue their education, and enable me to resume my studies in pharmacy. The war has interrupted my education, but my determination to contribute positively to my community through health care remains steadfast
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>With your help, we can rebuild shattered lives and restore hope where it was lost. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference for me and my family. Thank you for considering our call for help and for standing with us during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>warm regards,

Help repair racially motivated damages

<div>Hello, I am a 22 year old Palestinian woman from the Gaza Strip, and I am writing to you today with a plea for your support. My family and I, like the majority of Palestinians in Gaza, have been forced out of our homes in search of safety. We face unimaginable hardships, but we are still determined to build a future for ourselves through education, with your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our Story</strong>
</div>
<div>Before the war began, I was enrolled in my fourth year in university studying accounting. Now, I cannot complete my degree here in Gaza because my university was tragically bombed and destroyed, as you can see in the pictures. I am seeking your support to help me complete my education abroad in Egypt, so that I can establish a career and successfully support myself in the future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In addition, my two younger siblings will travel abroad with me to complete their education. My younger sister Hazar is a middle school student aged 14 years old, and my brother Mohamad, 20 years old, has completed the first year of his culinary school program to become a chef.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our Goal</strong>
</div>
<div>We aim to raise $42,520 to support the three of us as we complete our education in Egypt once we are able to evacuate. Completing our education is a powerful tool for us to support ourselves and have long-term stability in the future.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Aside from the cost of living, funds will cover additional expenses including first month's deposit and rent for housing, local travel fees in Egypt, and tuition costs for the three of us for four years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Estimated Cost Breakdown</strong>
</div>
<div>Tuition for two university students, annually = $2,500
</div>
<div>Tuition for one high school student, annually = $400
</div>
<div>Accommodation for three, annually = $5,000
</div>
<div>Food expenses for three, annually = $1,500
</div>
<div>Transportation for three, annually = $450
</div>
<div>Books, supplies, and miscellaneous, annually = $780
</div>
<div>Total estimated cost = $10,630 x 4 years = $42,520
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Funds may also be used for:
</div>
<div>• Medication
</div>
<div>• Medical Treatment
</div>
<div>• Emergency Shelter
</div>
<div>• Travel Costs if Displaced Again
</div>
<div>• Basic Needs Like Clothes &amp; Shoes, Blankets, Etc.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how small, makes a significant difference. Please consider contributing to our campaign and sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and social networks. We deeply appreciate your generosity and compassion. Your support means the world to our family.

Can You Help a Family in Gaza?

<div>I am raising money to help my friend Hassan and his family to leave Gaza and seek refuge in the UK.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have been friends with Hassan for over 5 years. I have sponsored him in a small way over the years to help him and his family in Gaza. Hassan is the same age as my own son. He will be 35 this year. He has a wife, Rima, and 2 young daughters, Haneen, 7, and Maria, 3. Rima is expecting another child within a month.
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/78663457_1710351318219375_r.jpeg" width="100%" />
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Before the war on Gaza the family lived in Gaza City but they had to evacuate to escape the bombing and went to stay with Hassan’s grandfather in Rafah in the south. The bombing moved to Rafah so they had to move again, this time to a refugee tent outside of the city.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The conditions of live in Gaza have become intolerable- death, injury, scarcity of food, water and medicine, closure of all exits from the region. Civilians, many of them women and children killed, injured, tortured and humiliated by the military forces. Hospitals and schools bombed, operations being performed sometimes on the floor sometimes with no anaesthetic or electricity. Scenes of carnage we can only imagine. Unspeakable. Unthinkable. No one should have to endure this life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here are words from Hassan on his situation:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“I was hoping stay in my country
</div>
<div>And continue my life and build my future in the Gaza Strip
</div>
<div>I never imagined that one day I would decide to leave the Gaza Strip
</div>
<div>But the war destroyed all our dreams and our future
</div>
<div>I want to save my life and the life of my family - my wife and my 2 young daughters -before it is too late
</div>
<div>Death is getting closer and closer to us
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have no source of income. The situation inside the Gaza Strip is very difficult and disastrous. Death, destruction, terror, fear and a huge rise in prices. It will cost us thousands of dollars for me and my wife and daughters to leave Gaza through Egypt and fly to England. We need funds for visas and flights and living expenses. We need to get out of the war before we lose our lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I hope all the friends who always follow and support Hassan Donate and spread the link among their friends and in all groups that stand by the oppressed Palestinian people
</div>
<div>I have over 17,000 friends and followers
</div>
<div>Please donate and share
