<div>Story: Last year, MCSO Deputy Wesley Penny Sr was diagnosed with lung cancer. What seemed to be a small Stage 1 area became scary over the next coming months. He had radiation, and He is being followed by MD Anderson. The cancer got a bit more scary bc it was stage 1 with 1 spot, then 3 spots and quickly grew and spread to his spine and upgraded to stage 4, so he needs to get chemo started asap. he is going to get chemo in Texarkana.. As of now, he is diagnosed with Metastatic Stage 4 lung cancer. He is in big need of prayer and support. Wesley is the kind of man that will give the shirt off of his back. He doesn’t ask much for help and I had to pull his hair to get him to agree to this (kidding Wes!) but even more so- let me tell you this man’s service to others. He is a Sheriff’s Deputy at Miller County Arkansas Sheriff’s Office and has served over 20 years in the force! He started out at a corrections officer, then became a Deputy, worked in CID (Criminal investigations) and received a promotion to Sergeant. He coordinated the Reserve Deputies and even had another job working as a City Marshall of Fouke, Arkansas for over 14 years. He was a leader of Pack 33 in the Boy Scouts of America and an assistant Scout Leader to Troop 33, Genoa, Arkansas. He is a faithful man of God and is a member of Shiloh Baptist in Genoa, Arkansas. He is known by many in our community as helping others and now he needs us! Believe it or not, he’s still working, but he’s going to be off work some. He has 5 boys and 8 grandchildren. Anything you can give to help him will be very appreciated. He is in need of funds to support him through his time off from work for chemo, insurance deductibles, copays and non covered treatments. <div>Hi, We are Peter &amp; Kelly Sotomayor. We raised our two beautiful daughters in a small town in PA.

<div><br />Our oldest daughter Sara Sotomayor had a severe adverse vaccine reaction when she was 13 years old. Since that time 15 years ago, she has suffered with innumerable autoimmune conditions, debilitating neurological issues, and illnesses which include(d): CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), Fibromyalgia, Lyme, Mold Illness, Allodynia, Mitochondrial damage, MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity), and food sensitivities. Through this she has developed contractures in her wrists, knees, fingers and hip. She has been bed ridden and unable to walk for the past <strong>9 years</strong>.

<div>It’s hard to put into words the amount of pain and suffering that we have witnessed our daughter go through. From a young age Sara’s life has been controlled by pain and illness. Dreams, goals, and simply life had to be placed on the back burner as she tried to survive. Most of her days were spent on the couch or in bed hanging on by a thread instead of being outside riding bikes with her sister or hanging out with family and friends.

<div>“My biggest dream is to walk, be healthy and independent,” Sara says. “To feel the joy of being able to do things myself without assistance. To walk, run and swim without limitations. To be able to hug without pain, and to chase dreams and goals that aren’t centered around getting healthy.”

<div>Due to Sara’s unique injury she has not found relief or healing from regular western medical treatments. But we have hope! We have found the Spero Clinic in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Spero’s targeted therapies are used to reset the central and peripheral nervous system which reduces pain, increases mobility and heals contractures in many of their patients.

<div>The Spero Clinic is a medical treatment center in Arkansas that uses a unique holistic approach to treat contractures and a host of central and peripheral nervous system conditions. They also have a doctor to treat Sara’s PTSD caused by years of pain and illness. The base line treatment is between 12-14 weeks, and in that time a specialized team dedicated to Sara’s unique case will guide her through multiple therapies designed to heal contractures and reset her nervous system. This will will resolve her contractures and increase her mobility and independence. Many of their patients are reporting remarkable improvement through these treatments. It is the only clinic offering these specific treatments worldwide.

Healing for Sara

<p>*EDIT* <br />Thank you so SO much to everyone who has donated! This is beyond incredible and we will keep everyone updated on how y'all helped this family who are dear friends of mine. I am going to receive the funds to my bank and have my bank send the money to her bank. That way, she does not have to worry about anything. made this fundraiser for a very good friend of mine, Lily. She was almost 9 months pregnant with her daughter at the time an Amazon registry was created for her. She had a conversation with a  mutual friend about her family members being nasty to her about being able to get what she needed for the new arrival all because of her stand for conservative values. Our friend posted her registry on their public personality Facebook page, Kait's Unsafe Space, on November 29th and within a day all of the items had been purchased which blew our minds! 
</p>

<p>Or so we all thought.....
</p>

<p>A few days ago, Lily decided to check in with Amazon because a bulk of the items (around 40) had not come in yet. Lily was told that these items were actually never purchased, but were reserved by the same person that went by "Christine". Christine (as well as someone by the name of "Ciarah" who reserved one breast pump) reserved around 40 of the highest priced items in the registry to prevent them from being purchased for Lily, her new baby and her toddler. The Amazon rep Lily spoke on the phone with was really disturbed that someone would do something like that to target Lily and her preborn daughter out of spite because of differing political opinions. Once I heard about it, I was livid on behalf of my friend. There is something in the works to figure out who this "Christine" is, but while that is happening Lily still needs the items that were never actually purchased for her. Because we all had believed everything on the registry had been purchased, Lily has already gotten rid of a couple of old things like the toddler bed to make room for the new items. The Amazon rep was kind enough to put all the items that were missing back on the registry for us and sent Lily an email to confirm that they indeed did speak that night. There is also a recording of the call that we have as well. 
</p>

<p>I am linking the actual registry here just so people can have something to physically click on, but I am asking that the money be donated on here so as to avoid this happening all over again. I tallied the prices of the items on the registry and added about $20 to cover fees that this site takes out. Lily did have her baby already, and mother and daughter are both healthy and doing wonderful!
</p>

<p>Please share and donate so we can get Lily and little Marigold the items they need and show whoever "Christine" and "Ciarah" are, that love and support override their disgusting actions.
</p>

<div>We are Richard and Diane, parents of Kimberly. As some of you already know, our beautiful, energetic, and happy daughter, Kimmy, and her husband Rob embarked on their newlywed journey several years ago, full of hopes and dreams.
</div>

<div>Instead they became trapped in a nightmare no young newlyweds should have to face. Shortly after moving into their apartment, their joy was overshadowed by a mysterious illness that began to steal Kimmy's vitality. Fatigue, vision disturbances, severe reactions to food and medications, gastrointestinal issues, constant coughing, debilitating rashes, and mental decline became her daily reality. For 5 agonizing years, they sought answers, visiting specialist after specialist, as Kimmy's health continued to deteriorate.

<div>Finally, a naturopathic doctor provided a crucial diagnosis: mold illness, stemming from toxic black mold and other harmful molds within their apartment building. This wasn't just an allergy; the mold toxins had infiltrated Kimmy's body, triggering a cascade of health issues including Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Histamine Intolerance, and liver disease. Her illness became so severe that she had to quit her job and could no longer perform basic tasks, leaving her unable to contribute to the shared life she and Rob had planned.

<div>Frequent pain in her stomach and pelvis requires the use of the heating pad as she reacts negatively to all medications. Swollen belly as the body holds onto excess weight while living in mold, and it's very difficult to lose. Hundreds of skin colored bumps all over her upper and lower back that were not there until she moved into the toxic mold. ☹️

<div>Witnessing Kimmy's suffering and Rob’s unwavering support as her full-time caregiver while desperately searching for a safe home has been heartbreaking. For the past 2 years since her disgnosis, the four of us had been dedicated to finding a mold-free environment for her to recover in. Sadly, every home they tested, including our home and her in-laws' home, showed signs of mold, preventing them from finding a temporary haven with family. The search became increasingly challenging and expensive, as testing for mold in each home cost hundreds—sometimes over $1,000—just to test. Every home tested had a toxic mold issue. This is a shockingly common issue in housing that not many people know or talk about.

<div>Finding an affordable, suitable option in California proved impossible, but through incredible effort and sacrifice, they recently moved into a beautiful, healthy home in Buckeye, Arizona. This monumental step has required every penny they had saved, a generous donation from Kimmy’s aunts and uncle on her father’s side, and a significant portion of our retirement savings. Tragically, though, due to the nature of mold contamination, they were advised that nearly everything they owned—all of their furniture, electronics, precious books, photos, artwork, small appliances, collectables, and anything porous that cannot withstand a rigorous mold remediation process—had to be discarded. That meant starting their new life in a safe home almost entirely from scratch. Everything that they had built together during 7 years of marriage was gone.
</div>

<div>Unfortunately, getting safely out of a mold contaminated environment and shedding mold-contaminated belongings is only the first step to recovery. Kimmy’s body still contains mold and mold toxins, and as long as that is the case, she will not be able to fully heal. Treatment for mold illness and the many comorbidities it creates is specialized, lengthy, massively expensive, and basically never covered by health insurance. These treatments could not even begin until Kimmy was in a safe environment, but now that she is, she and Rob are struggling to cover the costs of treatment.

<div>We are humbly asking for support to aid Kimmy and Rob in rebuilding their lives by helping them get through Kimmy’s treatment. The goal is to raise $25,000 to help them cover the costs of medical visits, labs, lab analyses, supplements, equipment (including dehumidifiers, air purifiers, etc.), programs/courses/educational materials, and other essentials that will help her detox and regain her life.

<div>For at least 5 years, Kimmy hasn't been anywhere except our house and the multitude of doctors, and always masked, due to her weakened immune system from the mold illness. Often the phlebotomist has a hard time finding a good vein.
