I'm raising funds for my wife, Rachel Sanchez, and our family as we face the ongoing costs of her breast cancer treatment. Rachel's cancer has metastasized, and our family has been doing everything we can to help her get the care she needs. We chose to take Rachel to Hope 4 Cancer for treatment. That treatment had to be paid out of pocket, and we took on a large loan to make it happen. On top of that, Rachel's day-to-day care at home requires carefully timed treatments, along with continued purchases of additional equipment and medicines. We also had to spend up to $10,000 on mold remediation, which added even more strain to our finances. We are also living on one income right now, and the financial strain is very real. This kind of hardship can happen to anyone, and sometimes getting through it takes the support of the people around us. Our financial need is not just a one-time expense. Rachel still needs to return to Mexico for her 3-month and 6-month checkups, which will require more travel and lodging costs, and the monthly expenses for her care at home continue indefinitely. Predictable support through recurring donations would help us keep up with these ongoing treatment, medicine, equipment, and travel needs as they come. One-time donations would also make a real difference for our family. Funds from this fundraiser will go toward paying off Rachel's treatment costs, travel, lodging, and medicine expenses. If I can pay back the loan we took out, it would also free up the ability to borrow against our home again for future needs related to her care. If you are able to help, whether through a recurring donation, a one-time gift, or by sharing this fundraiser, it would mean so much to us. Thank you for supporting Rachel and our family during this difficult time.
