East End Elementary has stood as a cornerstone of our community for generations, but now it faces urgent repairs that threaten its future. The building needs a new roof and extensive updates to ceilings, walls, floors, and windows. Without these repairs, we risk losing a space that has brought people together for decades. My mom and I are committed to preserving this historic school and transforming it into a sustainable, for-profit community center that will serve our area for years to come. With your support, we can create a safe and welcoming place for students and youth to study, practice creative projects, and participate in community programs. The restored school will also provide small businesses with a place to host their work, invite artist residencies, and offer extracurricular activities that enrich lives. Our vision is to build a facility where people can profit and play, fostering collaboration and creativity in a space that belongs to everyone. We are inspired to act because of the growing mental health concerns and substance use issues in our community.
