As someone living with scoliosis and limited mobility, I was already facing challenges, but the flood took away my home, all my clothes, food, and every essential I owned. Now, I find myself homeless for the first time in my life, with no family left and no support system to lean on. The only thing I have left is my faith, which keeps me moving forward despite the hardships. The support people pledge will help me get back into a place to live so I am not homeless. I need to replace all my clothes—the ones on my back are all I have left—as well as my electronics, music equipment, and other essentials that were ruined in the flood.
