My name is Evely, and I’m reaching out for help to keep a safe and stable home for myself and my 6-month-old daughter. Recently, I made the decision to switch to a part-time job to better balance work and caring for my little one. While this choice has given me more time with her, it’s also made my income unpredictable. Some weeks I’m able to work a full schedule, but other weeks I only get two or three days. This has made it a real struggle to make ends meet and keep up with rent. Every paycheck, I worry about whether I’ll have enough to cover rent and still be able to buy groceries or anything my daughter needs. The stress of not knowing if we’ll have a roof over our heads has been overwhelming at times. I’m doing everything I can, but right now, I need a little extra help to get through this tough period.
