Help Save a Mother and Her Newborn Twins ❤️ When I met this beautiful mother in Uganda, she was just days away from giving birth to twins. Heartbreakingly, her husband had abandoned her after discovering she was expecting twins, leaving her to face everything completely alone. She urgently needed an operation costing 800,000 UGX. Without it, both her life and the lives of her unborn babies could be at risk. After hearing her story, I surprised her with 2 MILLION UGX to help cover the operation and give all three of them a fighting chance. ❤️ We’re currently waiting for an update on the surgery, and I’m praying that this beautiful mother and her twins make it through safely. I’m now hoping we can come together to give this family a brighter future. Any additional funds raised will help support the mother and her babies with medical expenses, food, essential supplies and ongoing care as they begin their new lives together. The husband has lost his eyesight, and his wife desperately needs a hip replacement. Thanks to your incredible generosity, we've now raised over $20,000 to help Excel, a hardworking mum who has spent years away from her husband and three children in the Philippines, working as a nanny in Thailand to support her family. This money is going to completely change her life and help her finally return home to her children and pursue her dream of opening her own salon ❤️ I'm so excited to share that my wonderful friend Ryan Kalish will be helping deliver the big update to Excel! After the unexpected setback with the land, I'm so happy to share that *another K13,000 from your generous donations has officially been sent over, and the land title has been purchased!!* ❤️ THIS MEANS LAHO AND HER FAMILY NOW HAVE LAND THEY CAN CALL THEIR OWN!! We still have a remaining K2,000 to pay, which is expected to come through on Monday, and I'll be sending that straight over to finalise the payment! This is such a huge milestone towards building Laho and her family a safe place to call home. I'm so happy to share that Mark has officially received every dollar raised, as he was the direct beneficiary of the fundraiser! ❤️ When I spoke to him, he genuinely couldn't believe it. He told me how much stress this has taken off his shoulders, especially for him and his wife during such a difficult time. No wife should ever have to experience what this woman has been through. Her husband was tragically murdered following a dispute over a transport fare. He was set on fire, leaving his wife to face a future without the man she loved. A life was taken in the most unimaginable way, over something as small as a transport fare. When I heard her heartbreaking story, I knew I couldn’t just walk away. While nothing we do can ever bring her husband back, together we have an opportunity to remind this family that they are not alone. I’m raising funds to help provide financial security, support their everyday needs, and give them the opportunity to rebuild their lives after such a devastating tragedy.
