Hello, my name is Kyanna Pagan. I am reaching out for financial assistance after the sudden and tragic loss of my child’s father. He passed away in a motorcycle accident, leaving me as the sole caregiver for our 3-year-old daughter. We were actively co-parenting, and he provided childcare while I worked my weekend shifts to make ends meet. His passing has left a huge void in our lives, both emotionally and practically.

 Since losing my childcare support, I am unable to work consistently and have no family nearby to help care for my daughter. This has put me at risk of falling behind on rent and utilities, and I am struggling to cover basic necessities like food. The uncertainty and grief have made it difficult to focus on anything but caring for my daughter and trying to keep our lives stable.

 It’s difficult and a little embarrassing for me to ask for help, but I know I can’t do this alone. I am seeking help to cover rent, utilities, and living expenses while we mourn and figure out what’s next for me and my baby girl. Support for Kyanna & Daughter After Loss

Hello! My name is Michael Eppenbaugh, and I started this GoFundMe for my wife, best friend, and love of my life - Ashley Martin. We just celebrated our 6 year anniversary. (Feb 2024) 
<div>Last summer, Ashley had a lump on her jawline biopsied and it came back positive for, at the time, 'low grade' salivary gland cancer. Trying to schedule surgery, insurance denied us a handful of times/places before we were finally put in touch with the incredible team of doctors, nurses, specialists, etc. at University of Chicago Medicine. However leading up to this, the tumor on her jaw grew considerably, and the cancer has spread to lungs, and is no longer 'low grade.'

<div>What we are dealing with is adenoid cystic carcinoma - ACC is a rare type of cancer that forms in glandular tissues most commonly in the head and neck, but it can also begin in other areas. 
</div>
<div>On January 8th, her birthday, we had the tumor removed, a procedure that resulted in partial facial paralysis. As of Feb 28th, we completed 3 weeks of radiation on the face and neck region. 5 days a week in Chicago. Next is a lung biopsy, (March 6). We will know more about what's next soon, the hope is we get to avoid chemo for now and it hasn't grown too much, or at all.

<div>Throughout all this, Ashley has not been able to work. With this fundraiser, the money will be used to supplement income, put dents in the debt we've been working to pay off, and go towards the inevitable medical bills.

Ashley's Cancer Recovery

<div>It is with deep sadness to share the passing of Kasie Slavens' beautiful daughter, Charlee Rose Slavens.
</div>
<div>Charlee Rose leaves behind her devoted parents, Kasie and Beau, and her loving sister, Auburn. Charlee Rose was such a strong warrior and while it was unjustly short, she lived such a loving life. She loved playing with her sister and watched her every move. She loved watching Toy Story, Little Mermaid, Moana and Finding Nemo. She could always be seen with a smile on her face and brought so much joy to anyone who was blessed to know her.

<div>Kasie has been a valued teammate with Advocate Sherman Hospital for over 13 years. In her time here, she has managed the Cath Lab, EP, and Interventional Radiology as well as working as a nurse in the Cath Lab, OB, PACU, and Quality Departments. Kasie and her family have worked tirelessly to give Charlee Rose the best care and life; and she and Charlee Rose’s story has made such an impact on so many over these short 3 1/2 years. With this unexpected passing, there comes so much pain and grief, in addition to medical expenses.

In Memory of Charlee Rose

Hi, I’m Brittany, Emily’s sister. As most of you probably know Emily has been diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. Over the last weekend she had multiple grand mal seizures and was in the hospital for days on a breathing tube and sedated. Her boyfriend was able to stay with her the whole time but had to miss a lot of work because of this. I am trying to help give them both a little relief and help pay some of their bills. Emily hasn’t been able to work for quite some time, especially since starting chemo and radiation for well over a year. If you can, please donate. Or even just share this post. She is my best friend and little sister and I wish I was in a spot to take care of her financially but I am not. Thank you all and please keep sending prayers her way. ❤️
