Kari has dedicated years to working directly with victims of severe trauma, including survivors of human trafficking, and understands how vital it is to have tools that create safe, accessible, and lasting recovery. Julio, the research partner, is a firefighter, EMT, and clinical ketamine infusionist who has witnessed trauma from every possible angle. From responding to acute crisis scenes in emergency services to guiding patients through therapeutic states in the clinic, Julio has seen firsthand the profound, transformative power of psychedelic-assisted medicine for severe PTSD and nervous system recovery. Both researchers have recently been accepted to a Psychology Applied Science PhD program to support the academic portion of this research.
