Important Update on the Use of Donations Dear donors and supporters, First of all, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and solidarity with Sanad and his family during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️ We would like to inform you of a temporary change in how the donations will be used and distributed. For the time being, all funds raised will be sent to Sanad’s parents in Gaza to help cover their immediate basic needs and ensure their survival, including essential daily expenses while they face the extremely difficult conditions there. At the same time, we are waiting for Sanad’s grandmother to open a bank account in Qatar. Once the account is established and the transfer arrangements are confirmed, our intention is to direct funds toward Sanad’s medical needs, particularly the surgeries he requires. This is a temporary arrangement intended to help the family meet their most urgent needs while we work toward establishing a way to receive and allocate funds for Sanad’s surgeries. We are sharing this update to ensure full transparency with all our donors. ❤️ We are now incredibly close to reaching the €2,800 needed for Sanad’s facial surgeries, and this is all thanks to YOU! Good news: finally the hold on this campaign for review purposes has been removed and I was able to send your donations to Mahmoud’s family. Here is the notification of the transfer and of the decision by GoFund. After donations it takes up to 3 days for the platform to review the funds and up to 5business days for the funds to be transferred to my account.

We talked to Snabel recently to find out about her complicated family situation… it seems she’s legally fighting for custody of her children against the grandfather from her past husband who wants to take them from her… she’s been abandoned by her whole family and she alone relying only on your donation to financially support her babies. These are her messages: «I buy diapers and milk for two children, as well as food and bread; I buy clothes for them, and I also buy clothes for myself My father-in-law—my children’s grandfather—wants to take my children and everything that comes to them. They are considered his son’s children—and thus more important than me—partly because I am young. Yet, I will not abandon them; I have no one else but them.» She has debts cumulating to 460$ so part of these donations will cover expenses she has already made to survive. Also she doesn’t have a suitable tent for the winter and for the past months she’s been living thanks to generosity of a neighbor because her previous tent collapsed. She currently requires raising about 700$ for a dome tent that protects her and her children from the wind during winter. So keep donating such that she can reach this goal and finally purchase a new tent ⛺️
