When the people in power fail us, it’s up to our communities to rally around those in need. With SNAP food benefits running out, I’m raising money to donate to a local food bank in Chicago. Local food pantries are anticipating that they won’t be able to meet the rising demand, so it’s up to us to do our part and make sure that Chicago’s families and children do not go hungry. Together, we can restore balance to our communities and show that the true power is held with the people.
