Food Truck for the homeless

I want to take action to impact the lives of approximately 3,800 homeless people in Dallas, TX who struggle with hunger.

The money you contribute will assist me in buying a food truck as well as the necessary supplies and equipment to get this show on the road.

My focus will be breakfast at first. Your mother was right:  Breakfast really is the most important meal of the day. Not only does it give you energy to start a new day, but breakfast is linked to many health benefits. 

Studies show that eating a healthy breakfast can help give you:

- A more nutritionally complete diet, higher in nutrients, vitamins and minerals
- Improved concentration and performance
- More strength and endurance to engage in physical activity
- Lower cholesterol levels

The need and urgency is real. I need to get this going now before the cold weather arrives in December.

By contributing, you can help the elderly survive which many don't live into their elderly years. The average age of a homeless person is 53.

WORKING ON RIGHT NOW

- I will have a website up and running in about a week or so you can see progress
- I plan to have a fun wrap for the truck. Looking at some vendors
- Engaging the planning and zoning committee in Dallas
- Will engage corporate sponsors soon
- Will engage synagogues and other non profit organizations on how they can help
