*English version below* Wir, Sarah und Ruben, gehen im Rahmen eines Freiwilligendienstes über das weltwärts-Programm für ein Jahr nach Ecuador. Dort werden wir hauptsächlich das Umweltzentrum Mindo Lindo bei Aufforstungsprojekten von Waldflächen und Instanthaltungsarbeiten von Waldwegen und Lehrpfaden unterstützen. Gleichzeitig werden wir aber auch unterschiedliche Monitoring Programme für unsere Partner, die KEK - Karlsruher Energie- und Klimaschutzagentur und die Artenschutzstiftung des Zoos Karlsruhe, durchführen.
Da die Programmkosten nur zu 75% von weltwärts getragen werden, müssen wir beide zusammen insgesamt 5.600€ selbst über Spenden aufbringen. Die Spenden gehen über uns an unseren Träger, den Internationalen Bund, und kommen somit dem Projekt zugute.

We, Sarah and Ruben, are going to Ecuador for one year as part of a voluntary service through the 'weltwärts' program. We will primarily support the Mindo Lindo environmental center in tree planting projects and maintenance work of forest trails and nature walks. At the same time, however, we will also perform different monitoring programs for our partners, the KEK - Karlsruher Energy and Climate Protection Agency and the Artenschutzstiftung of the Zoo Karlsruhe.
As the 'weltwärts' program only covers 75% of the total costs, we have to raise a total of 5,600 € ourselves through donations. The donations go via us to our carrier, the Internationaler Bund, and thus benefit the project.
