Tiny Trax For Kellen

Donation protected
Kellen was born at 23 weeks gestation in October 2016 and was given 1 hour at birth to live. However Kellen pulled through and he is definetly a miracle baby. Kellen has had various infections and surgeries at birth including NEC (perforation of the bowel) where they gave Kellen a stoma at 4 weeks old which he had reversed at 6 months old. Kellen has had laser eye surgery at 3 months old for stage 3 ROP (Retinopathy of prematurity) and he is now blind in 1 eye and short sighted in his other. Kellen has chronic lung disease and pulmonary hypertension and requires oxygen 24/7 as well as having global development delay. Kellen is definetly a little fighter and has over come so many obstacles. Currently Kellen is under a lot of teams at the hospital to help him grow and develop, and has regular physio sessions to help with his physical development. At present Kellen can only roll and is not yet sitting, crawling or walking. Kellen relies on us to move him around so he can explore his environment. In order for Kellen to develop independence and enhance his learning and development we are wanting to get kellen a Tiny Trax powered wheelchair to enable him to get around more independently and enjoy his surroundings. The Tiny Trax does come with a hefty price tag of £6000. And we are looking for any donations big or small to help us in getting kellen this incredible system which he will benefit from greatly.
