We’re Baaack! Bigger. Bolder. Better. This is TiaraCon 2017!
On July 27 and 28th at the Caesars Suites Las Vegas TiaraCon will be hosting a two day conference celebrating women in security and diversity in technology employment. TiaraCon is about increasing the amount of women in information security.
Tiaracon’s theme for 2017 is ‘Alliances’. Our dialogue this year will emphasize self-advocation, community support, intervention tools, and networking. We celebrate diversity and provide a platform to learn from shared experiences. Speakers will share their experiences in the industry, resume review support will be provided, there will be a small on-site job fair, and networking opportunites to connect with employers who support inclusive workplacest.
We need your help to make this happen! This year we'll be in a much bigger and better suite, close to DefCon.
We're doing two full days, afterparties, and mixers. We're catering, we're setting up speakers, and we're getting folks jobs. Doing all this costs. Our vision of the event this year is going to cost $25,000. We've got deposits in, and expenses calculated, so all money gathered now will go immediately to use in con operations.
Thank you so much, for anything you can throw in, or for showing up. We love being a community funded event, and the difference TiaraCon made last year makes us even more excited about making this happen again!
