The Tangible More, because "We did not forget you when we marched past you."
Our organization began as a positive and noncontroversial reaction to the Women’s March on January 21, 2017. In one day, the Women’s March attracted over 3 million individuals across the United States, with the largest crowds marching through Los Angeles, New York City, Washington, D.C. The streets of cities as large as Los Angeles, New York City, and Washington D.C are shelter for our Homeless Americans. Our goal is to encourage a continual and collective effort and raise 3 million tangible donations for our 500,000 Homeless Americans. This is our way as a nation to say, "We did not forget you when we marched past you."
My officers, members, and I of Circle K, our community service club at the University of Scranton, recently did a test run. We donated white socks to our local community center for the holiday season. When we dropped off the socks we received blessings and thanks for our small gesture and that was enough for me to want to do it again, this time on a much larger scale. I could not find a more fitting time, than now. Sometimes, there's nothing better than warm socks, a cup of coffee, and a hot meal on a cold night, because even in the summer, not every night is a summer night.

The logistics:
The Women’s March totaled around 3 million individuals across the nation.
I plan on collecting and distributing 3 Million donations to our Homeless Americans
In full, the donations will be distributed to New York City, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Scranton and Asbury Park’s community centers to then be distributed appropriately to those individuals in need.

Jersey Shore Rescue Mission
Community Intervention Center
How you can help:
Donate at least: One white item (limited to socks, undergarments, and towels), one McDonalds gift card, one blanket, one toothbrush/toothpaste
Donate money: It will be put towards one or more of the items previously listed (you may specify your personal preference)
-either through this webpage, mail, or in person (accepting cash and checks in person)

How to get involved:
If you are a student attending a university, involved in a club, active in community service or just want to do more email me. You can serve as additional help to either be a temporary drop off location for donations or to simply continue spreading the word!
