Police Capes for children of DPD

This donation cape drive is officially complete! We had three different outlets in which we raised funds and we hit our goal of 300 capes to give away!!
As the daughter of a Dallas Police Officer this tragedy has struck me to my core. My goal is to be able to donate police capes to the children of Dallas Police Officers. I completely understand and feel the worry that these children live through every time mommy or daddy leaves the house. I believe that through these capes we can restore hope, encourage young hearts, and honor those who protect and serve us! It is a great way to raise moral and recognize the real heroes of this world! Imagine the change we could do in someone's home with the simple gesture of a cape!
We are asking for donations in increments of $10 if possible. We will be able to donate one cape for every $10 raised! I make these capes myself through my business The Cape Lady. I am hoping to deliver these the first week of August as I do need about a week for production after we have finished collecting donations.
It would be a dream to go up to the Dallas Police Department and donate a couple hundred capes to their children. Not only would it be overly fulfilling for me and you to see but to the children and their parents who risks their lives daily.
