The Orsi Holiday Ticket

In early July of this year Wetumpka’s Redland community – the community in which my family lives – was rocked with the news of a tragic and unimaginable domestic violence event. On that fateful day sisters Adrianna, Katherine and Patricia Orsi lost both their parents, a sibling, their puppy and every single one of their belongings.
Because this horror hit really close to home, I decided to use my radio show – the MAX Roundtable on the local ESPN affiliate – as an outlet to raise funds and support for the Orsi girls, who are living with their grandparents in Redland.
Knowing how difficult both the physical and emotional recovery continues to be, the community is obviously still looking for ways to support the beautiful children. While Christmas is normally a time for loving our families and counting our blessings, for Adrianna, Katherine and Patricia I fear this year’s holiday will be filled with different emotions.
In conjunction with the Redland Elementary PTO, I’m asking from the bottom of my heart for my friends and show listeners to support “The Orsi Holiday Ticket.” Our plan is to send the girls, along with their grandparents and aunt, to Disney for the week of Christmas. Our prayer is for the week to be a special time of healing for the entire family.
All funds raised through “The Orsi Holiday Ticket” will be overseen by the Redland Elementary PTO Board, and any excess collected will go toward their future needs. Many, many thanks in advance for prayerfully considering assisting this effort!!
