Thank the Police Nationwide

My name is Billy Richards, 

Upset over the tragic killings of Police Officers around the country, I have decided to take a trip to major cities.  During the trip I will run around the city with the American Flag as a show of patriotism, and to let the Police know that there are still people out there that appreciate them.  Upon completion of the run, I will leave the Flag I ran with, with the Department as a gift, along with a thank you card for their service to the community.

This will be ongoing after the mission is completed, every event I run, I will give a flag to a Police Officer/First Responder on staff.  Also, I will continue to take donations as the event goes on, as I attempt to give a positive outlook towards police via social media, those that donate will have their names listed on the thank you cards as well, to let the Police know that you support them.

I will make this happen reguardless of how many donations I recieve if any, I am simply asking for help on my Journey for the cost of American Flags, thank you Cards, tolls, gas, and other miscellaneous expenses I may face along the way.  If I have to, I have a case of MREs in my trunk for food, and will sleep in my car if necessary to accomplish the task.  I am looking at starting this trip first week of August, however, I will do out and back trips within driving distance of Long Island before the main journey begins.
