Thanking A True Hero
Donation protected
In the middle of the night, 2 years ago, this young hero, Nick Rozenburgh, saved the lives of a number of families in our community from a fire that was burning down their homes! http://www.newsday.com/long-island/suffolk/townhouses-damaged-in-melville-fire-officials-say-1.10461938
Mr. Rozenburgh was driving home from his night supervisor job in Huntington, New York, at 2:00 am, when he noticed smoke coming out of our community. He pulled his car over to get a closer look, realized there was a fire, and ran to each of the burning homes, knocking on doors to wake up these families and get them out. His actions saved the lives of all of these families!
This young man is a true modern day hero.
And now we want to give back.
On May 24, 2017, we will be thanking and honoring Mr. Rozenburgh and presenting him with an award and a gift.
We are seeking contributions from our residents and those who are moved by this story and want to celebrate this act of true heroism!
All proceeds will be used toward this event.
