TAHA Garden of Giving

Our amazing group of Homeschoolers are starting a Garden of Giving to grow fruit, veggies & herbs to help feed our local kids in our community. We will be donating produce to Tracy Family Resource Center. 

Tracy Area Homeschool Academy’s belief is that its takes a village so we are stepping up to help those in need. Kids helping kids! It doesn’t get much better than that! 

We will be opening up small gardening classes to the public to help raise money throughout the year to help continue our efforts and bring awareness of the need for food in our community. Its also a great way to get the community out to see the Tracy Community Garden. We hope we will inspire others to garden and get outdoors! 

We need your help in getting our project off the ground and off to a successful start. We are in need of monetary donations to purhase the following things: 

- Our yearly plot payment
- Automated Drip System for the Garden Beds
- Veggie & Fruit Plants 
- shovels & rakes for kids
- Large gardening shears
- large river rock to build a labyrinth 
- Plastic stackable chairs
- Large Garbage Can & bags
- 4 umbrellas & stands 
- Rags
- Garden knee cushions 
- Wood or wood pallets to build stuff
- bricks or cylinder blocks for creating borders & tables with
- long piece of wood to put over cylinder blocks to make a table out of or...
- 2 folding tables
- gardening project supplies 
- And we are always looking for instructors to hold classes for projects so we can raise money to keep funding our Garden of Giving.
