Talmudical Academy of Baltimore will have over 1,000 students coming to learn and grow, as a new school year begins.
Nobody should have to worry about the safety and security of these precious children.
As TA continues to grow, we have engaged security professionals to assess our security needs. Based on their recommendations, we are in the process of implementing a series of upgrades which include both physical security improvements as well as enhanced protocol. Some of the work has already been completed, with full implementation expected within the year. Most of the funds for these upgrades are being funded by a number of Federal and State grants.
In addition to upgrades mentioned above, TA's Executive Board has also decided that the time has come to consider placing an armed security guard on campus to further enhance the safety and security of all of TA's students and faculty.
But there is no grant to fund this, and we can't do it alone.
We need your help.
We ask you to consider a tax-deductible donation of $100 or more to help TA fund an armed security guard to help protect our faculty and students this year. We hope to raise at least $50,000 towards this initiative. If we surpass our goal, the extra funds will be earmarked to better train our staff in emergency preparedness.
