New Truck for Surf Therapy Program in Trinidad

Waves for Hope offers a surf therapy program to at-risk youths in the rural communities of Trinidad, Caribbean. We provide a safe space, caring mentors, the fun activity of surfing and evidence-based exercises to build healthy relationships and develop skills to cope with stress.

Our goal is to encourage positive life choices and create role models in our communities across Trinidad & Tobago.



In order to facilitate our surf therapy sessions we need to transport the kids and all the surfboards to the beaches.

We have been using our old truck for transportation. Unfortunately, the truck is starting to age quite rapidely and we need to invest in a new (second-hand) truck to be able to continue with the program.

We and all of our participants are so grateful for your support, whether small or big.

A second-hand truck in good condition will cost us around TTD 120'000 (CHF 20'000.-) and will last us many years.
