Support TRUCE + Local GVP Work

Concerned citizens of CU are raising money for TRUCE, a program of the Champaign Urbana Area Project .

TRUCE is doing amazing and much needed work in our community to stop  gun violence. TRUCE trains Violence Interruptors or Peace Seekers to work with at-risk youth to prevent violence and build a more peaceful community. Here is recent coverage of their work in the News-Gazette.

Funds will go to support the training and recruitment of Peace Seekers here in CU as well as efforts to expand the program to our friends in Danville, where this type of intervention is desperately needed.

This is our small way of supporting this important work and sharing our wish for a more peaceful 2019!
