On 12-6-18 Officer Michael Smith was shot while trying to apprehend a suspect at a business in Henry County, GA. Officer Smith is in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. This fund is linked to the official donation account through The Southern Credit Union in McDonough, GA.

We are a local financial institution committed to helping our community when we can. Ofc. Smith is a local hero and serves the community where we are located (McDonough, GA). We have been in constant contact with the Smith family regarding donations and how they may receive donations now and in the future. The account for donations received are in a savings account with The Southern Credit Union.

How the funds will be spent (be specific as possible)
Funds raised will be used to provide direct financial support to Officer Michael Smith and his wife during his recovery. 

Your withdrawal plan to get the funds from the campaign to the ultimate beneficiary or beneficiaries. 
Funds  will   be  withdrawn  from  the  account  and  transferred directly  to  the  wife  of  Officer  Smith  as  needed  by  the  family.
