Hello friends & comrades, I have come upon crossroads of my life, where I have almost burned out of the internal political activism,  been homeless, extremely suicidal(and checked myself into a psychiatric hospital) & without a job, and I have now decided to work as an Independent Freelance Journalist. 

I have decided to do this for a variety of reasons and based on my current circumstances. I'll explain those first: I have a stable place to stay in Richmond, I am seeing a free therapist regularly and am trying to take care of both my mental health & physical health the best I can. Unfortunately, I have lost my physical Permanent Resident Card(Green Card), British Passport, and California State ID, so I am unable to get a job or apply for social services, and I have very limited money so I am unable to replace them. 

Because of these circumstances, my previous political work, and my frustration with both national & local media, I have decided to Speak Truth To Power in a different approach, through the press. I have constantly challenged authority in my life & questioned those in power & with power, and I want to continue to be able to do this, in a much more refined way. Which is why I have decided to attempt to become a journalist. 

My main focus will be the 2018 Midterm Elections, which are less than 100 days away, on November 6th, and I will be researching & writing about races all over the nation. The future of our county and world are at stake and it is our duty to be informed & active, and I want to help with getting people educated & active as much as they are able to. I will also be covering local stories within the Bay Area, primarily Point Molate and the intersection of sports and politics within our society, after all Colin Kaepernick was a San Francisco 49er, the Champion Golden State Warriors are one of the wokest teams in all of sports, and my San Francisco Giants, and baseball as a whole has fallen short on their civic duty to be more politically involved in these chaotic time, as athletes once were in the 1960's.

but I hope to be published in larger publications eventually. 

I will primarily be using the money for food, transit, replacing my green card, passport, and ID, and my cell phone bill. By me not having to worry about these needs, I can focus on research & writing, and make the positive difference I have been trying to for all of my adult life.
