On September 28, the community of California, PA, will be partnering together to present a free screening of highly acclaimed documentary "Our School" - produced and directed by Mona Nicoara and co-produced/co-directed by Miruna Coca-Cozma.

A description of the event is below, along with some links to more information about the event and a trailer for the documentary film.

Like most "free" events, there is in fact a cost to bring this complimentary showing, followed by a panel with noted Roma scholars, to our community.  Our special guests, including Mr. George Eli and our panel scholars, have generously donated their time, however there are still significant associated expenses such as travel, lodging, and meals.

A few donors have stepped up to cover some of those expenses, however, there are still other expenses yet to be met.

If you would like to contribute any amount, no matter how small, to help us bring this educational and inspirational event to California, PA, thank you in advance for your generosity.

Even if you don't live in or near California, and you would like to help support this important cultural event, we welcome and appreciate any donation of any amount!

If you have questions, or would prefer to make a contribution via some other means, please do not hesitate to contact me, Carla Anderton, via email at carla@pabridges.com.
