Support for the Fuentes-Agustin Family

Hi everyone.
We are reaching out to you because we've started a GoFundMe for the Fuentes-Agustin Family.
On the night of the raid, a Hispanic family from Guatemala was robbed at gunpoint. Three individuals broke into the home where five children resided with their parents. When they failed to comply with the orders of the robbers they shot the 19 year old son three times. He has been hospitalized since and is expected to be in the hospital for six weeks. The family is afraid to return to the rental home because they kids are terrified. They now live in the son’s hospital room and trying to gather money from any place to move out. Most of the children are United States citizens but the child who was shot, the younger sibling and the parents do not have legal status. They applied for asylum and the judge admin closed their case in 2016 (meaning they are now legally able to reside in the United States but they don’t have legal status) because an 18 wheeler hit their car and injured all family members the day they were driving down for their court hearing. They have scars all over their bodies from the accident even though it happened many years ago. The mother stated "had it not been for the raids the robbers would not have went to their home because they knew a lot of Hispanics were arrested that day and most likely their homes would be empty." Our firm is starting a go fund me account for people to donate so they could find another place to live because the children are extremely traumatized.

En la noche de la redada, una familia hispana de Guatemala fue robada a punta de pistola. Tres personas irrumpieron en la casa donde residían cinco niños con sus padres. Cuando no cumplieron con las órdenes de los ladrones, le dispararon tres veces al hijo de 19 años. Ha estado hospitalizado desde entonces y se espera que permanezca en el hospital durante seis semanas. La familia tiene miedo de regresar a la casa de alquiler porque sus hijos están aterrorizados. Ahora viven en la habitación del hospital del hijo e intentan juntar dinero de cualquier lugar para mudarse.
