Love for Mariah, Matisse and Felix

As I imagine most of you know by now this past Saturday, April 15th, we lost lost a dear friend. Hedger passed away leaving behind the other pieces of that friendship, Mariah and their two baby boys, Matisse and Felix.
Between the tears and heartache we've been trying our best to pick up our jaws off the ground and work through all the confusing details that come after a death. Needless to say it's been stressful, confusing, exhausting and emotional.
The last thing that Mariah needs to think about is how for the next several months while all the paperwork is being processed and things changed to her name, is money and how she will be able to support her babies alone. It's the everyday expenses that can creep up and surprise you.
So many people have been asking how they can help and support her. Well, this is it. I know nobody likes asking for money (which is why I'm doing it for her), but that's really what she needs right now. These funds will be used for everyday things like groceries, gas and diapers, as well as bigger things like car insurance and bills. Not to mention all the surprise things that WILL pop up along the way.
There is not right or wrong way to deal with such a sudden and tragic event but we are all in this together. We are all here because we love Mariah and the boys and we LOVED Hedger SO much. There is no question that this process will not be easy. But together we can do our best to make it EASIER.
