Help Us Carve Out a Cozy Nook for Creative Colloquy

For over a decade, Creative Colloquy has created a space for the literary community to come together, share stories, build connections, and fuel creativity. From local poets to novelists, essayists to songwriters, we’ve offered a platform where writers can find their voices, support one another, and celebrate the power of storytelling.
Now, we’re dreaming bigger. We’re raising $4,000 to set up shop in our first brick-and-mortar space in the Old Mecca Building, a shared office space through Spaceworks! This will be a home for pop-up storytelling events, workshops, and writer’s salons. It will also serve as the launchpad for a new podcast where we’ll break bread with local storytellers and explore what nourishes the creative spirit and fuels the writing process.
This isn’t just about a physical space—it’s about continuing to build a community where everyone has a place at the table. A place where we can be vulnerable, share our stories, and learn from one another in an atmosphere of inclusivity, respect, and a shared love for the craft. Creative Colloquy has always been about lifting up local voices, whether through our online publication, annual anthology, or in-person literary readings and open mics.
We’re asking for your help to make this vision a reality. Your support will allow us to grow our programming, offer more opportunities for writers to connect, and create a space where everyone who believes in the power of words can come together.
Let’s build something that nurtures creativity, connects people, and keeps the spirit of storytelling alive for years to come. Thank you for being part of this community!
