Stop Urban Deer Hunting

I live in an upstate NY town that runs an urban bow hunt program allowing hunters to roam around residential neighborhoods and put tree stands up in people’s front and back yards. They do not limit the size of the lot one can hunt on, only that an arrow must land 50 feet or more from ANY boundary line.  The Town Board dismisses safety concerns raised by many, they won't specify a minimum lot size (say more than 1 acre), they  refuse to require that hunters get permission from neighbors that live close to approved hunting sites and they won't consider limiting hunting to Town owned land which maybe sufficient to conrol the herd size.    Hunters are allowed to bow hunt on small lots 50x100ft and to sit in tree stands that clearly visible from public roads,  neighbors bedrooms and school bus stops.  A home owners real property rights  to live safe, be kept free from violent acts and to be able enjoy their property are being violated.  These injustices occur all over my neighborhood and elsewhere in the Town.  Funds are being raised rectify these injustices and to enforce the laws have adopted.   Donations will  also be used to build a larger coalition across the USA to make urban bow hunting safe and to accommadate the rights of all citizens not  just the hunters!
