Standing Rock Camp Florida

‌We are establishing  Standing Rock Camp Florida!
United Indeginous Nations
Standing for our Sovereignty and Treaty rights a place of prayer and healing.
Florida’s fragile and crucial water systems, are in danger.  Indigenous Water Protectors from the Stand at Standing Rock are coming to Florida to keep the prayer going and to protect the water from these threats! We need your help to make this vision a reality.

I am managing the establishment of this camp by securing land, people, and other resources to allow for a prayer-centered space. I will be traveling with my Standing Rock Sioux relatives along with my family to Central Florida. We will be joining with our Miccosukee / Seminole relatives.  This camp is indigenous / native lead and kept in prayer and peace. We are in need of donations to get up and running.

Thanks to the miracle of Standing Rock, fossil fuel development under EVERY major waterway are in the spotlight. In Florida, the Sabal Trail Pipeline, being constructed by a Texas-based corporation, is almost complete and about to start pumping natural gas from Alabama through Georgia and into Florida’s fragile natural springs area. Other planned pipelines and development projects threaten water supply for millions and the wildlife and community that surrounds us all the way to the Everglades.

These pipeline projects must be stopped to protect the water. Water is the foundation for us and for our ecosystems. We do not have to depend on fossil fuel resources. With more efficient energy consumption and technologies like solar, we can move away from pipelines that pose risks to our shared resources of water and food. Previous failures from pipelines before have caused massive damage and even death so we shouldn't take any risks of that happening in the future. We need to come together and prevent bad mistakes from happening instead of encouraging them.

This is not about which political party you are. This is about the people standing together to protect Mother Earth and this is the biggest stand in history where hundreds of Tribes come together in agreement.

Standing Rock also shows us that we cannot let history repeat itself or the continuation of environmental devastation in the name of money and energy.

Water Is Life
What started in Standing Rock in Peace and Prayer must continue.
This healing camp is just that we need to heal as we stand. Through prayer and indeginous sovereignty and science we can dig up these pipelines.
We will welcome you to Florida! This account is towards establishing the needs for Standing Rock Camp Florida.  From here we continue to stand with our brothers and sisters worldwide.  The black snake has multiple heads.  We will kill the black snake!
