A Veteran's Search for Stability

Hey, all.

My wife surprised me, with the help of our Hurst, TX police department, to announce that we are expecting a new baby. Here's the video:

As you can see, I'm extremely excited to meet this new addition to my family, but I'm heavily medicated for PTSD, General Anxiety Disorder, and Major Depression Disorder.

I am a veteran of the US Army. I served in Operation Enduring Freedom -Afghanistan from 2013-2014. I've been struggling with my psychological disorders; being admitted to an inpatient hospital twice within the last 6  months and numerous Emergency Room visits due to panic and anxiety attacks. I, actually, met the officers in the video during a very traumatic panic episode in November 2016 and ever since he's become a great advocate for my family and I.

I'm currently awaiting the Veteran Affairs for an answer to increase my disability rating, but it has been a roller coaster of denials for years. I'm not receiving the care I thought I would receive and it has been taking a toll on my marriage.

Constant hospital visits has placed a financial hardship on my family as I'm missing weeks of work and having a hard time maintaining consistent employment. I'm forced to put bills on hold, at risk of losing my personal vehicle, and unable to currently provide a larger home for my growing family. I'm trying to be a great dad and husband and provide for my family, however, the severity of the psychological disorders need constant attention. Dealing with triggers force me to constantly isolate myself, having panic/anxiety attacks all the time, and having thoughts of harming myself, which led me to a treatment facility for eight days.

I have a support program available to me, but I am having a hard time maintaining it due to the hours of the group and my work hours, with little gaps in between for rest, sleep, or even time to spend with my family, especially my wife. I would like to focus my time on gaining control of my combat related PTSD, GAD, and MDD so that I can be better for our baby.

I'm seeking a donation for help with rebounding from this financial setback due to my inability to work as I seek mental health treatment and gain new employment to better support my family that provides a stable work environment suitable for my psychological disorder.
Thank you so much!
