Springfield Youth Group

We live in a community where there are many things to do, well for the older people and little children, however there is nothing for the Young people locally,  a lot of them are hanging out on the streets in groups  and are getting into mischief and worse... Every day on social media I am seeing complaints from residents about what these groups of children have been up to, and that people are begining to feel intimidated by them...  I then see reports of them hanging about near the shops, on a street corner or a park..  people are writing this to warn other. I thought back to when I was younger and what I was doing when I was their age,  yep  my friends and myself spent many a night at our good old youth club, we used to have so much fun, and it also learnt us to stand up for our community and to help our community.  It then occurred to me its exactly what the children here needed.  I  found myself on social media within minutes saying this is just what we need and before I knew it I had nearly 40 volunteers to help set up a youth group for the children in our community......  Within a week  myself and a few volunteers have met with the local authorities youth service, and they were very helpful and are willing to support us 100 per cent.... The only problem being they have no funding and neither do we!   
We have however secured a premises but at a small cost, but there is no pot of money to pay for these premises or to supply things for the children to do, so after getting back on social media and asking people for donations of items that the children can use, I was innundated with offers of tvs gaming consoles games equipment etc.... However we still have no money for the venue so a very nice lady suggested starting a go fund me page to see if we could at least get a couple of months rent for the venue....So I now find myself here writing to you all and asking if you would possibly help with a donation....to be honest these children are our future and if we dont get something done for them now I dread to think what is going to happen later... so please if you can spare as little as one pound to help us get this youth group off the ground not just for myself or my volunteers but for the children,  we know we can make an impact on these children before its to late.
I would just like to thank you all in advance for taking the time to read my page and hope we can get this up and running as soon as possible.....Its times like this I wish I was a millionairess and could say here you are here is the money however, unfortunately I am not and thats why I am appealing to you as a mother and a member of a community that wants to not write off the teenagers here but just the opposite I want to help them! we are fortunate to live in a great community and need to work together to change the image of our young people and give them a fair chance to express themselves in positive ways and inspire each other Thank you.
