Hey, we are the Somers Town Festival 

The Somers Town Festival is the largest street festival in Camden - attracting thousands for a celebration of what this unique part of London brings. The stalls, the stages, the community groups and the performers stake a case that possibly every country on the  earth has a representative in Somers Town.

We are hugely proud to be an 'Access to All' festival. No entrance fee. No wristbands. No windy barriers with security going through your bag. Just walk in and be a part of it. We are also hugely proud that the street stalls are run by local residents and not professional vendors who travel the festival circuit. If you want to see what street food truly is, then the stalls on Chalton Street on the 13th July will take you all around the globe. This is a festival by the community for the community. And the community of Somers Town has a representative from all around the globe.

All this is why the Somers Town Festival is so unique and the unspoiled gem in London's summer festival calendar.

2019 is the 21st Somers Town Festival and as such it has been invited onto the British Library Piazza for a Somers Town take over. Live music and a pop up Somers Town museum will grace the library concourse in addition to the traditional  Chalton Street festival.

This year sees four stages playing live music with the Peter Perrett headlining with special guests John Perry and Alan Mair joining him for what will be the closest you will get to an Only Ones reformation. For free! Right there on the street!! Expect the unexpected at Somers Town Festival, with poetry recitals, parades, a rock n roll market, comedy, street theatre, sport and city gardening all finding their place on the bill.
