My name is Faiza  Kahin, I  live in Virginia, I am writing you this message to raise funds to help the people who are seffering  from the severe drought that is going on in many parts of Somaliland.
 
Our Mission Statement 
 To provide humanitarian assistance to the people affected by the drought in Somaliland. We have partnered with a local non-profit organization here in Virginia to collect the funds, and with your support we hope to collect enough funds to reach out to the drought victims and thus save lives.

Please take a look at some of these children who are victims of the drought in Somaliland. Without our help their lives are in danger. The children are severely malnourished, and if we don't help them now it may be too late.

UN reported  295,000 people are affected by the drought; over fifty percent are women and children.

Water sources are severely limited. The 2-year drought in this country has wiped out the crops and livestock that are the only source of income for most families. The result is poor health due to malnutrition. This situation exposes the entire population to other illnesses and disease. As a result, people  are starving to death.

We are inviting you to help us save lives by taking part in this vital mission. Along with the SomalilandAmericans.org, we are trying to collect funds to improve health and save lives for despirate families.

Use Of funds: It will be used to buy different types of  food. Then  we and a SomalilandAmericans.org,  will send it out  to the areas in Somaliland  that is affected by drought.
