Socktober: help for the homeless

As part of Socktober, a national movement to provide socks for the homeless, I've started a local drive for those in need in Owensboro. 

Owensboro shelters are in need of new socks, gloves, hats and coats for men, women and kids. And it's going to be cold soon. 

You can drop off items at collection sites around town (a full list will be provided soon), or save yourself a trip and make a donation here. Donations will be used to purchase more socks, gloves, hats and coats. 

$10 can buy 10 pairs of socks. Every dollar counts. 

Now's the time to do something awesome! A small act of love, such as donating a pair of socks, can make big difference in the lives of our neighbors who are homeless. 

Donations will be accepted through October 29th.
