Eyes to the sky: Major Brian Murray

Donation protected
Brian Patrick Murray earned many titles in his 37 years: Major, Lieutenant Commander,  First Officer, friend, uncle, son, brother, husband, and most importantly, daddy.
Upon returning home in December 2016 from an Air National Guard deployment to the Middle East, Brian was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive blood disorder. He was soon challenged with his most difficult mission: fighting for his health and life. Despite a very difficult and brave battle, Brian tragically passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
His passion for the military, aviation, and the St. Louis Cardinals could only be matched by his deep love for his friends and family. After marrying his high school sweetheart, Anne, in 2005, they enjoyed an adventurous life as they moved around the country with the U.S. Navy, settling back home to St. Louis in 2014.

Please consider a donation towards the bright future of their three precious children: ages 7 months, 4, and 7 years old. Our family cannot express enough thanks for your support during this difficult time. Brian will be dearly missed by so many, and will live on through his children.

"Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return."   - Leonardo da Vinci
