Single Parent Affordable Housing
We are a team of single parents with MBAs helping the single parent community thrive through supplemental housing and educational resources while promoting higher education.
Single Love Developments, a 501c3 program, was founded in 2015 by two single mothers. The two joined forces to support single parents who have a desire for improving a families quality of life.
Both Adriana Sandoval and Mercedes Baumbach recognized that housing and education are extremely expensive and understand the challenges of acquiring both while working and taking care of a family. With little support, a single parent can feel very alone and not have the motivation to achieve an education.
Their goal is to assist single parents by supplementing a percentage of housing and education costs in order to help keep single parents motivated to achieve their educational goals.
By having the housing and education assistance, the single parent is are able to push further through his/her career and gain self-confidence to provide for their family on their own.
The project is based out of the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area, both are homes to Mercedes and Adriana.
We are asking for help to extend our outreach program into the community quickly. There are many ways to get involved.
