Shreveport Youth Boxing Club was created by Tim FitzGerald and Coach Donny Jackson to provide a safe, competitive environment where our boxers learn self discipline, team work and responsibility.
Every day after school the kids come in for training and are given goals for improvement. Many of the parents have become involved by volunteering their time. Shreveport Youth Boxing Club welcomes any and every boy or girl that walks through our door.
The program serves kids year round from 5pm - 7pm on weekdays. Several coaches serve our boxers, including our nationally recognized head coach, Donny Jackson. Kids participate in regional, state and national tournament events throughout the year. Sponsorship and donations go directly to the boxing program, including covering tournament registrations and travel costs for each of the kids participating.
