Donations from now until August 1st 2017 will go to a brave survivor who exposed their families abusers to protect other children. Funds will go to legal, medical, & secondary expenses related to the attacks on their family. The only group in Arkansas dedicated specifically to fighting the normalization of child on child abuse.
Momnemies brings awareness to domestic & sexual violence information that relates to children. The content and infomation promote awareness of
child abuse as well as domestic/sexual violence victim advocacy awareness and support, encouraging others to BREAK the silence. The website is in development still but will be provided when published. fb.me/momnemies
According to research from Save The Children, an international non-governmental organization that promotes children's rights, Arkansas is the 7th most dangerous state for children.
The goal is for others to be aware of circumstances that surround abuse, inspire others to speak out and not protect abuse, letting advocates and other mandated reporters know what child abuse is and how to enforce their legal obligations to protect children, as well as fighting the normalization of child on child abuse.
Our intended purpose is to support other non-profits & community officials & members with education through event & seminars throughout Central Arkanas. Presentations would be ideal for schools, child care facilities, church organizations, domestic violence shelters, among many others.
As a domestic and sexual violence survivior & victim advocate, I have spent nearly a decade building rapport with a multitude of agencies within central Arkansas and nationally who have graciously extended their assistance in gathering resources and information that will assist readers to ensure they are informed and educated on topics that are presented. Funds will go to training, education, recovery & strengthening the organization into a 501(c)3 status and eventually a physical facility.
If you are able to share the group (via social media, email, verbally, etc.) so that others can benefit from it, this would help to reach the goal of preventing another family from having a story. Even if justice isn't served, victims and their families can serve justice by speaking out and raising awareness. Thank you for your interest in the cause & taking the time to hear our message.
