Senior Citizens’ Christmas Meal

Winterbourne Academy in conjunction with The Olympus Academy Trust, is raising money to support our local senior citizens. The Academy is looking to provide some Christmas cheer inviting local senior citizens, who maybe lonely during the festive period to have a free Christmas Dinner with others at the Academy. Sixth form students will be on hand to provide entertainment and serve the dinner. The event is projected to cost £750.
The money raised will go towards running the event. We will invite up to 60 senior citizens and target those that are likely to be lonely during the festive period. The monies raised will go towards providing food, drink, decorations and pay for any publicity costs. Any money raised over and above the end cost of the event will be donated to Age UK. We have now made it for our Xmas dinner. Please now give generously so we can give a massive cheque to Age UK. We have a new target of £1500.
