Help Protect The Sea Island Parkway

Tax deductible
People, we need your help!

The Sea Island Corridor Coalition was organized in April 2016 to give a voice to those in and around Beaufort concerned that piecemeal development was compromising the look, feel and sustainability of communities along the corridor.

Since we were founded, we've helped County government forge a stronger tree ordinance in the wake of the horrendous clear-cutting at Oyster Bluff. We've successfully fought unreasonable building density at Greenheath. We are working closely with developers of Whitehall, to do what we can to ensure appropriate development. And we've engaged a huge number of Lady's Island residents in advocating for a badly-needed island-wide master plan, Designing A Future For Lady's Island.

But to maintain this focus, and further the availability of good information to the public, the Coalition needs sustainable funding. Our activities to date have been funded by a small number of supporters, and we realize we cannot forever rely on these 10-20 people alone.

Broadened financial support will enable us to continue our community outreach, continue our high level of communication on planning and development issues, and ensure that government deliberations and decision-making affecting the Parkway are made in the open, with an appropriate level of sunlight.

Can you help? We'll appreciate your support...
