(initial consultation was Tuesday April 17)
We intend to file for a Court Injunction to STOP these proceedings meant to Dissolve the Wenonah Police Department. We want to slow this down enough to respectfully discuss all options, address ALL citizens questions and concerns, weigh any financial savings and then find a viable solution that represents the wishes of the majority of Wenonah Residents.
An issue that affects the very fabric of our town is clearly different from regular business and should be up to the majority of taxpaying voters to have a say.
(We never even sought a competing bid for services.)
