Save Skatehouse Skatepark

The Skatehouse located in South Lake Tahoe, Ca has been open for 5 years now and with rise in cost in this area specifically we have found ourselves in a pickle. Our annual contest El Bowlrrito isnt until May and that usually cover costs for a greater part of the year.  We provide a safe, creative environment for kids to learn to skate and to expand their existing skills.  Granted, the bowl is not for beginners but hours each day are set aside for the little guys and gals to get in there and build their confidence as well as build life long friendships with other skaters.  With the beginning of the year just around the corner we are seeing an increase in unexpected bills, maintenence, and permits.  Right now we are in the middle of 3 consecutive local fundraisers.  We are only asking for what small amount you can afford to help us keep this amazing skate spot open and accessable to whoever wants to skate and enjoy this incredible bowl in the mountains of the Sierra's.    Shon and his crew work daily as volunteers to give Tahoe a dry place to skate every winter.  Thank you all and wish us luck.
